Code Sections

Code sections are the primary retrieval unit in v1. A code section combines:
  • Structural identity and citation metadata
  • Current or effective text
  • Official source links
  • Connected ordinance and lineage context
Code-section-centric search is also in v1 scope via GET /v1/search. For prospects and product buyers, code sections are where LocalCode demonstrates traceability: not just section text, but the legal context behind it.
